Tor Des Geants, on second thought

My first time frame of 70-80 hrs may have been a bit optimistic considering they expect the first runner to finish in 74hrs, or noon wed. My second best guess now is to finish midnight wed or in 86hrs. Who knows though, that is why I came to run, the unknown in this race is so vast that anything can happen. I still am hoping for a bit of snow, no rain and hopefully some clear sky now and then to take in the views.

Here in Courmayuer, northern Italy a few days now enjoying the people, food, mountains and soon 200 miles of trials. Friends old and new are slowly making there way into town and it's been great to have a little English speaking company and good friends around. I only have 3 sleeps before the race and wish it were just one. the 9hr time difference means that I'm still up in the middle of the night. which for the race is a good thing since I plan on sleeping very little. just a few hours. I have no real schedule just plan to run how I feel like I always do, seems to get me to the finish more often then not.
